Present: Pastor Craig Paschal, Brad Goodell, Phyllis & Bill Johnson, Clay Bader, Barb & Dick Cover, Dan Corcoran, Sylvia Fleitz, Dana Petersen, Jen Paschal
Trustees: Brad reported on a conversation he had with Jay Fann about possibly building some shorter pews for the front rows. The suggestion to cut the pew that is now in the choir loft into two or three sections was made. There was general agreement that this might be a good solution. It will be revisited at a later date.
Jen reminded that some blinds in the kitchen in the parsonage need repairs. Brad will look into it as well as get some cells for the lights outside the sanctuary and the Fellowship Hall.
Dana and Jen requested the church buy a music stand to use in the sanctuary. Barb C. made a motion to allocate up to $200 to buy a music stand. Dan seconded. Motion passed.
WON Team: Jen brought up the idea of having one person coordinate special music (soloists, small groups, choir, etc.) each Sunday. Phyllis, Jen, Sylvia and Howard Decker each agreed to take a Sunday. Thank you!!
Jean Bader mentioned to Barb that it is time to assign new food folks. Phyllis volunteered to take July, August and September and will recruit someone else to help her. Covers and the Starlipers agreed to take October, November and December again.
Craig reminded all that the New Orleans mission trip commitment date is March 12. He opened for discussion the idea of using outreach funds to help defray some of the costs. Dan suggested taking a special offering at church. Pastor Craig noted that the offerings from the Sunday evening Lenten services have been designated for the New Orleans trip.
